This Privacy Policy explains how Water Day Tracker ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our iOS application. By using Water Day Tracker, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Water Day Tracker helps you track your daily water intake, set hydration goals, and receive personalized reminders based on your body profile. All data processing happens locally on your device.

To provide personalized hydration recommendations, the app asks you to provide the following during onboarding:

• Gender – used to calculate your baseline daily water goal
• Age – used to adjust hydration recommendations
• Weight – used to compute your daily water intake target
• Activity level – used to refine your daily water goal
• Climate preference – accounts for environmental conditions
• Wake-up & bedtime hours – used to schedule reminder notifications
• Language preference – used for app localization

The app also stores your daily water intake logs, drink entries, and hydration history so you can track your progress over time.

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Calculate and display your personalized daily hydration goal
• Track and visualize your water intake history and progress
• Schedule and deliver local push notifications at your preferred times
• Display the app in your selected language
• Provide premium features if you subscribe

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

All app data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your personal information.

Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms including hardware encryption and app sandboxing. Sensitive identifiers (such as purchase receipts) are stored in the iOS Keychain.

Deleting the app from your device will permanently remove all associated data.

Water Day Tracker uses local notifications to remind you to drink water. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — they do not pass through any external server.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app settings or in your device's Settings > Notifications > Water Day Tracker.

Water Day Tracker offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly) through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Water Day Tracker does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or social media plugins that collect personal data.

The only external service involved is Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions, governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Water Day Tracker is suitable for general audiences, including children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) beyond what is entered locally during onboarding.

Since all data remains on the device and is never transmitted, no parental consent is required for data transmission purposes. Parents can delete the app and all its data at any time by uninstalling it from the device.

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

• Access & Review – Your data is visible within the app at any time
• Modify – Update your profile information in the app settings
• Delete – Remove all data by deleting the app from your device
• Portability – Your data is accessible through iOS device backups (iCloud or local)
